Adolescents struggling with eating disorders need specialized medical and mental health care for the best chance at a complete recovery. The Eating Disorder Program is a collaborative effort between Adolescent Medicine and Child Psychiatry to provide comprehensive care. We care for patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and sub-threshold disorders. Most of our patients are seen in the outpatient clinic setting, while those who require medical stabilization are hospitalized on our inpatient unit.
