Vaccine Center

Vaccines are a critical part of pediatric preventative medicine. Experts in the Division of Infectious Disease can answer your questions regarding childhood immunizations in clear, uncomplicated language. We can recommend which vaccines are necessary for your child and can provide information regarding vaccine-preventable diseases, including measles, pertussis (whooping cough), and mumps.  We are also one of several clinical research sites involved in the evaluation of new vaccines, including new combination vaccines to minimize the number of shots. Our ID specialists also provide vaccination needs for children with chronic illness and/or immunosuppression.
