Personal Biography
Nuntiya Kakanantadilok, DMD, FAAPD, is interim Chair, Department of Dentistry, Director, Pediatric Dentistry and Assistant Clinical Professor at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr. Kakanantadilok’s clinical focus is on the treatment of trauma to the gums, teeth, jawbone and other oral tissues in children and adolescents and non-operative techniques in managing caries (tooth decay).
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Washington University in 1993, Dr. Kakanantadilok attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 1995. In 1997, she received her certificate in pediatric dentistry from Montefiore-Einstein .
Dr. Kakanantadilok is board certified and is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the New York State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
