Personal Biography
Natalie Falcon Trotto, DO, FAAP, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Trotto’s clinical focus is on the diagnosis and management of patients with food allergies, allergic rhinitis, asthma and allergic skin disorders. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and addressing social determinants of health to support better outcomes for her patients.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in microbiology and immunology at the University of Miami in 2015, Dr. Trotto earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. She then completed her pediatric residency at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center in 2023, followed by an allergy and immunology fellowship at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in 2025.
Dr. Trotto’s research focuses on quality improvement initiatives, such as improving understanding, identification and treatment of anaphylaxis among patients with food allergies. During her fellowship training, she also conducted research surrounding acute Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) reactions in a cohort of Hispanic patients. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed abstracts and invited presentations.
Dr. Trotto is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI). She is fluent in English and Spanish.
