In March we honored Child Life specialists and all the great work they do with our kids. Pizza Party Pajama Day was the first in a series of weekly events throughout the month, designated as Child Life Month. Our Child Life Program specialists dressed up in pajamas to help the kids get in the spirit. The kids were given pajamas and pillowcases to decorate and stuffed animals to cuddle. A great time was had by all! These celebrations improve the quality of the stay for patients and families and brighten the day of staff members and raise awareness about Child Life Month.
