Services & Programs

Pediatric infectious disease physicians at CHAM provide consultation services to both outpatients and inpatients. Some of our specialty programs include:

  • The Vaccine Center provides outpatient information and vaccines for preventable childhood diseases, including measles, pertussis (whooping cough), and mumps.
  • Our Travel Clinic advises families about how to avoid foreign diseases such as malaria, yellow fever, or typhoid during vacations or trips abroad, and vaccinates children for these and other illnesses before traveling.
  • We work cross-departmentally to diagnosis and manage Kawasaki disease.
  • Our Transplant Clinic protects pediatric patients from infections that may accompany solid organ transplants.
  • Antibiotics stewardship
  • Infection control
Outpatient consultations to the Division of Infectious Disease are by referral from primary physician or specialty provider. For an outpatient referral, please contact 718-741-2470.
